At Lime Human Capital we’ve taken a unique approach to the development of recruitment and assessment skills training.

Together with our registered psychologist, our e-learning techniques and our one-on-one consultations, we are able to effectively integrate our assessment methodology into the client’s environment.

Our assessment process success is derived from the well documented competency framework which feeds directly into the development of the comprehensive functional and action based assessment guides.

Our assessment tools are tailor made to suite specific roles and organisations. Through the assessments we are able to define the candidate's thinking patterns i.e. emotional, analytical, structural or strategic. 

The functional and action based assessment is based on the functional category; however these assessments provide evidence of the candidates capabilities across the entire competency framework. The pitch of the questions asked during these assessments are in line with the level of work and the assessors are trained to interpret from the candidate’s responses their ability to perform the functional competency. They are also focused on eliciting the candidates experience in performing the said competency, their personalized approach and the developmental focus areas.

 

The assessment team use a combination of high and low pressure techniques in order to optimize the candidate assessment process and different micro and macro behaviour is observed and evaluated.

 

The Lime assessment team consists of a functional specialist assessor and the behavioural assessment is conducted in parallel by our Clinical Psychologist, Corlia Nel. This information enables us to ensure that the candidate is both a cultural and work ethic fit for the client’s organisation.

Interview Skills Training

We build a partnership with HR and all internal stakeholders to ensure that we understand the needs and requirements of the organization.

Through effective communication and workshops we are able to align the level of work definitions and competencies with the level of work already defined within your organization.

By identifying the knowledge; experience and attitudes required for a role we are able to build robust and comprehensive competency frameworks that form the foundation layer of our detailed assessment process.  Our competency frameworks focus on ensuring that there is a fair and agreed baseline of the role and the role outputs required.

Our frameworks are divided into three major categories namely: level of work; functional knowledge and role behavioural style. The Lime competency framework is a detailed extension of the job profile and provides a view of the expected capabilities and competency definitions at a set and agreed standard.

The competency definitions (assessment criteria) articulate the expected outcomes and the individual effort required to perform the competency.  In addition they articulate the manner in which the competency must be carried out. 

The competency framework forms a baseline to the assessment guides which are subsequently developed.

The purpose of this programme is to ensure that delegates have a detailed understanding of how to interpret the competency frameworks; understand levels of work; that they have insights of how to prepare for the functional assessment and that they know how to deduce behavioural styles in an interview scenario.
